TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last Updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to automotive services provided by LPDetailing LLC, doing business as Auto Vitality ("Auto Vitality," "we," "us," or "our").

These Terms apply to all estimates, proposals, appointments, work orders, invoices, and services provided by Auto Vitality unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

By approving a proposal or estimate, paying a retainer/deposit, leaving a vehicle with Auto Vitality for service, or otherwise authorizing Auto Vitality to begin work, the customer ("Customer") acknowledges that they have reviewed and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. SERVICES

Auto Vitality provides automotive appearance, protection, and customization services, including Paint Protection Film (PPF), automotive window tint, automotive detailing, ceramic coatings, vinyl wrap, paint correction and scratch removal, and related automotive appearance and protection services.

The exact services, products, coverage areas, pricing, and other specifications for a particular vehicle will be described in the Customer's estimate, proposal, work order, or invoice.

2. RETAINER / DEPOSIT & APPOINTMENT RESERVATION

A 20% non-refundable retainer payment/deposit is required to reserve an appointment unless otherwise specified by Auto Vitality.

The retainer compensates Auto Vitality for reserving production time and may also be used toward materials, products, parts, preparation, and other costs associated with the Customer's scheduled service. The retainer will be applied toward the final balance of the scheduled work.

By submitting the retainer/deposit, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

If the Customer cancels the appointment, fails to appear for the scheduled appointment, or otherwise elects not to proceed with the scheduled work, the retainer is non-refundable except where otherwise required by applicable law.

3. RESCHEDULING

Customers may reschedule their appointment one time without an additional retainer, provided Auto Vitality receives more than two (2) business days' notice before the scheduled appointment.

A second rescheduling request will require an additional 20% non-refundable retainer/deposit in order to reserve a new appointment date.

Rescheduling requests made with two (2) business days' notice or less may be treated as a cancellation at Auto Vitality's discretion and may require an additional retainer before another appointment is scheduled.

A rescheduling initiated by Auto Vitality will not cause the Customer to forfeit their retainer.

4. PAYMENT

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing before work begins, the remaining balance is due in full upon completion of the scheduled work and before the vehicle is released to the Customer.

Additional services or materials requested or authorized by the Customer during the project may result in additional charges.

Auto Vitality reserves the right to suspend work or withhold delivery of the vehicle until amounts due for authorized work have been paid, subject to applicable law.

5. ESTIMATES & ADDITIONAL WORK

Quotes and proposals are based on the information and vehicle condition reasonably observable when the estimate is prepared.

During service, Auto Vitality may discover conditions that were not reasonably apparent beforehand, including previous repairs, repainted panels, bodywork, failing clear coat or paint, adhesive residue, contamination, damaged trim, aftermarket components, or other conditions that affect the proposed service.

If additional work or a material change in price is necessary, Auto Vitality will make reasonable efforts to obtain Customer authorization before performing work that materially increases the agreed price.

6. PRE-EXISTING VEHICLE CONDITIONS

Auto Vitality is not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, deterioration, improper previous repairs, or other pre-existing conditions of the Customer's vehicle. This includes, without limitation, rock chips, scratches, dents, paint defects, damaged glass, failing or oxidized paint or clear coat, previous bodywork, repainted panels, loose or damaged trim, existing tint/film/vinyl/coatings/adhesive, aftermarket accessories, electrical or mechanical issues, interior wear, rust, or corrosion.

Auto Vitality may photograph or document the vehicle before, during, and/or after service for condition documentation and quality-control purposes.

7. PAINT, BODYWORK & REPAINTED PANELS

The Customer is responsible for informing Auto Vitality of any known repainting, bodywork, paint repair, touch-up work, or other refinishing performed on the vehicle. Aftermarket or previously repaired paint may not have the same adhesion or durability as factory-applied finishes.

Auto Vitality is not responsible for paint, clear coat, body filler, touch-up paint, or other refinished surfaces that lift, peel, separate, discolor, or otherwise fail during reasonable preparation, installation, correction, or removal procedures when the failure results from a pre-existing condition or previous repair.

8. PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF)

Paint Protection Film is a professionally installed protective product and is not expected to make an imperfect vehicle surface perfect. Minor installation characteristics may be visible under certain lighting or viewing conditions, particularly around complex curves, edges, seams, recessed areas, sensors, emblems, and body lines.

Small amounts of moisture, haze, or minor visual distortion may occur during the curing process and may improve as the film cures. PPF does not make a vehicle immune from rock chips, impacts, scratches, staining, accidents, environmental damage, or other damage. Coverage and installation style may vary based on vehicle design, panel geometry, film specifications, and the service package purchased.

9. WINDOW TINT

Window film requires a curing period after installation. Temporary haze, moisture pockets, or similar curing characteristics may be visible during this period. Due to the nature of the installation environment and vehicle interiors, absolute freedom from every microscopic dust particle or visual imperfection cannot be guaranteed.

The Customer is responsible for selecting a window film configuration appropriate for their intended use and for complying with applicable laws governing window tint. Auto Vitality does not guarantee that a Customer-selected tint configuration will comply with laws outside the jurisdiction in which the vehicle is registered or operated.

10. VINYL WRAP

Vinyl wrap appearance and durability depend heavily on the condition of the underlying surface.

Vinyl may not properly adhere to damaged, oxidized, improperly repaired, rusted, heavily textured, or failing surfaces.

Edges, seams, relief cuts, and other installation techniques may be required depending on vehicle geometry.

Vinyl wrap is not permanent and may require replacement as it ages or is exposed to environmental conditions.

11. CERAMIC COATINGS & DETAILING

Ceramic coatings provide additional protection and easier maintenance but do not make a vehicle scratch-proof, chip-proof, stain-proof, or maintenance-free. Coating longevity depends on environmental exposure, vehicle use, storage conditions, washing techniques, maintenance, and other factors outside Auto Vitality's control.

Detailing and paint-correction results depend on the condition, age, thickness, and previous treatment of the vehicle's surfaces.

12. SCRATCH REMOVAL & PAINT CORRECTION

Auto Vitality will use professional judgment when determining whether a scratch or paint defect can be safely reduced or removed. Some scratches or defects may be too deep to safely eliminate without compromising the vehicle's clear coat or paint.

Auto Vitality does not guarantee complete removal of every scratch, swirl, stain, etching mark, paint defect, or other imperfection.

Preserving the integrity of the vehicle's finish may take priority over achieving complete defect removal.

13. AFTERMARKET & FRAGILE COMPONENTS

The Customer must disclose any known aftermarket, modified, repaired, loose, damaged, or unusually fragile vehicle components that may be affected by the scheduled service. Auto Vitality is not responsible for failure of components caused by pre-existing deterioration, improper prior installation, previous repairs, defective materials, or other conditions that could not reasonably be identified before work began.

14. CUSTOMER BELONGINGS

Customers should remove valuables and personal belongings from the vehicle before dropping it off. Auto Vitality is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property left inside the vehicle unless caused by Auto Vitality's negligence or as otherwise required by law.

15. VEHICLE ACCESS & AUTHORIZATION

By leaving a vehicle with Auto Vitality, the Customer authorizes Auto Vitality employees or contractors to enter, start, move, operate, and reposition the vehicle as reasonably necessary to perform the authorized services, conduct quality-control checks, and move the vehicle within or immediately around Auto Vitality's facility.

16. COMPLETION TIMES

Any estimated completion date or time is an estimate and is not guaranteed unless Auto Vitality expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Completion times may change because of vehicle condition, installation complexity, curing requirements, material availability, staffing, additional Customer-authorized work, or circumstances outside Auto Vitality's reasonable control.

17. VEHICLE PICKUP & STORAGE

Customers are expected to retrieve their vehicle within a reasonable period after being notified that work has been completed.

Vehicles left for an excessive period after completion may be subject to reasonable storage or late-pickup fees.

When practicable, Auto Vitality will notify the Customer before storage charges begin to accrue.

Vehicles left for extended periods may be handled in accordance with applicable Missouri law.

18. WARRANTIES

Any applicable manufacturer warranty for PPF, window film, ceramic coating, vinyl, or other products is subject to the manufacturer's own terms, limitations, exclusions, registration requirements, and warranty procedures.

Any Auto Vitality workmanship warranty communicated in writing for a particular service applies only according to its stated terms.

Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, improper washing or maintenance, environmental contamination, vandalism, modifications, third-party work, failure of the underlying vehicle surface, or other causes unrelated to Auto Vitality's workmanship.

19. INSPECTION & CONCERNS

Customers are encouraged to inspect their vehicle when taking delivery. Any concern regarding Auto Vitality's workmanship should be reported as soon as reasonably possible so that Auto Vitality has an opportunity to inspect the vehicle and determine whether corrective work is appropriate.

Customers should not have another person or business alter or repair the area in question before giving Auto Vitality a reasonable opportunity to inspect it, as doing so may affect Auto Vitality's ability to determine the cause of the concern or provide warranty service.

20. LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Auto Vitality will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the services provided. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

21. PHOTOGRAPHY & DOCUMENTATION

Auto Vitality may photograph or record vehicles for documentation, training, portfolio, and marketing purposes, including use on its website and social-media accounts. Auto Vitality will make reasonable efforts not to intentionally publish personally identifying information belonging to the Customer. A Customer who does not want their vehicle used for public marketing purposes may notify Auto Vitality before work begins.

22. CUSTOMER AUTHORITY

The person authorizing the work represents that they are the vehicle owner or otherwise have authority from the vehicle owner to authorize the requested services.

23. TERMS INCORPORATED INTO PROPOSALS

These Terms & Conditions are incorporated by reference into Auto Vitality estimates, proposals, work orders, invoices, and appointment reservations when those documents reference these Terms.

If a proposal or work order contains specific terms that conflict with these general Terms, the specific written terms applicable to that transaction will control to the extent of the conflict.

24. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and any services provided by Auto Vitality will be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

25. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

26. ENTIRE AGREEMENT & MODIFICATION

The applicable proposal, estimate, work order, invoice, written warranty terms, and these Terms & Conditions collectively constitute the agreement concerning the services being performed.

Any material modification to the Customer's specific scope of work or pricing must be authorized by the Customer or Auto Vitality, as applicable.

CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT

BY APPROVING A PROPOSAL, PAYING THE REQUIRED RETAINER/DEPOSIT, OR AUTHORIZING AUTO VITALITY TO BEGIN WORK, THE CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEY HAVE BEEN PROVIDED ACCESS TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS, HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW THEM, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM.
